Wind Runners will launch into Steam Early Access on September 23, 2026
Today, we’re incredibly proud to announce that Wind Runners, the high-speed aerial roguelite where arcade flight combat meets split-second tactical decision-making, will launch into Steam Early Access on September 23, 2026.
The new gameplay trailer highlights Wind Runners’ high-speed ship handling, vivid sci-fi worlds, upgrade synergies, and massive boss battles. A playable Steam demo is available now, alongside a new batch of screenshots.
The loop is simple: Fight. Die. Improve. Defeat.
In the Steam demo, players can take control of Zenna, an aggressive style of pilot who uses high mobility to maintain constant pressure on enemies. Her ship features an automatic main laser that can overheat, plus two missile-based special attacks: one powerful, aimed shot for bosses and priority targets, and one volley that automatically locks onto nearby enemies.
The demo also introduces players to the Zerah Igna Star System, where each run sends them across visually distinct planets, dynamic missions, and dangerous encounters against the Realm’s armada.
