Moonsigil Atlas launches today, and Even the Real Moon Can Change Your Run
After 2 years in development, Moonsigil Atlas launches today alongside a new trailer that gives players a fresh look at its grid-based card combat, expressive combo potential, and early praise from the strategy and indie game community.
In Moonsigil Atlas, there is no energy, no mana, and no action point cap. Players can play as many cards as they want, as long as they fit on the board. Every card is played directly on a grid, each with its own shape, keywords, and effects, turning each combat encounter into a tactical optimization challenge.
EVEN THE REAL MOON CAN CHANGE YOUR RUN
One of Moonsigil Atlas’ stranger secrets is tied to the world outside the game. Five rare moon-linked artifacts can appear in rewards depending on the current real-life phase of the moon: New Moon Blade, Crescent Moon Blade, Half Moon Blade, Gibbous Moon Blade, and Full Moon Blade.
Each blade grants bonus damage under different health conditions, with effects becoming more extreme the farther the moon is from full. The Full Moon Blade grants a flat damage bonus, while the New Moon Blade can triple damage when the player is below 15% health.
If it is a crescent moon outside, players may find the Crescent Moon Blade waiting in their rewards.
Players will battle astral entities and confront powerful Titans that can reshape the board itself. Hostile zones, shifting grids, and encounter-specific win conditions force players to adapt their strategy beyond simply building a stronger deck.
In Moonsigil Atlas, building your deck is only half the challenge. Choose cards that fit well together, and reshape the cards that don’t! With tens of thousands of possible combinations, even the simplest cards can become build-defining centerpieces. Players can reshape cards, inscribe runes, and create wildly powerful combos across every run.
